After four and a half years of running Atlanta Bemani I'm officially stepping down and transferring the site to Drew's care. Please bear with us as we move everything over to his server this week.

There have been some server hardware changes in recent weeks, and while upgrading we discovered a few issues. Some users may experience problems logging in to the forums until this is addressed. Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll take care of it as soon as possible.

Unfortunately it appears that Crazy Nickels, last bastion of any pre-MAX DDR and other Bemani goodness in the Atlanta area, has closed. This means that Psyton's tournament is cancelled. This also means that the last pre-MAX mix in the state is a lone 5th Mix in Augusta.

The arcade Bemani scene seems to be dying out in Georgia.

The server is moving to a new home on Sunday, May 8th, so the site will be down for a few hours in the morning. Barring any complications it should be back up later in the day.

Only three days up and we've already had our first site outage! I promise it had nothing to do with anything on our end, though. It appears the domain registrar's server went down for a few hours, so the routing for the site was unavailable. I've used them for a couple years and have never had anything like this happen before, so it's likely this was a one-time problem.
